Why?
NO RIDING NO BATHING
We do not offer elephant bathing due to concerns for both elephants’ well-being and customers’ safety. Elephants need their private moments to splash, roll, and enjoy the mud. They get stressed when humans join in. Chaining and using hooks are used as methods to control them, which we do not approve of. Elephants are our family. We highly cherish and respect them, so chains and hooks are banned here. Bathing with elephants is risky to humans too. The pond is contaminated with elephant’s waste, which is unsafe and unclean. It is better to let elephants thrive naturally without human disturbances. Our aim is to support an ethical, educational, and safe experience. We hope that you can support our goal too

Everyone visiting Phuket in Thailand should visit the Bukit Elephant Park. It’s the most amazing experience you will ever have being up close and personal with the elephants.
By visiting the park your ticket money is helping to support the ongoing running costs of providing a safe place for these animals to live as they have all been rescued by purchasing them from their previous owners who had mostly kept them chained and living in not so good situations. Here they can live out their life in a safe and free existence and receive the ongoing medical care they sometimes needed.
We strongly recommend your ticket include the Rubber Tree demonstration as well as the Thai Cooking Class that will then provide you with a meal, either lunch or dinner depending on whether you do the morning or afternoon tour. The staff are beautiful people and the facilities are clean and well organised. We strongly recommend you visit the Bukit Elephant Park, the whole experience is one that we will certainly never forget.

Our visit to Bukit Elephant Park was absolutely wonderful—we loved every moment of it! The staff’s dedication to the well-being of the elephants was evident, and it was heartwarming to see how well they cared for them.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed with a complimentary drink (coffee or Thai iced tea) and refreshing cold napkins, which was a nice touch. We then walked through different areas of the park, where the guides shared fascinating insights about the elephants, their behavior, and conservation efforts.
One of the highlights was the opportunity to take photos with the elephants, creating unforgettable memories. The entire experience was well-organized, educational, and truly special. If you’re looking for an ethical and immersive elephant experience, Bukit Elephant Park is a must-visit!
