Why?

NO RIDING NO BATHING

We do not offer elephant bathing due to concerns for both elephants’ well-being and customers’ safety. Elephants need their private moments to splash, roll, and enjoy the mud. They get stressed when humans join in. Chaining and using hooks are used as methods to control them, which we do not approve of. Elephants are our family. We highly cherish and respect them, so chains and hooks are banned here. Bathing with elephants is risky to humans too. The pond is contaminated with elephant’s waste, which is unsafe and unclean. It is better to let elephants thrive naturally without human disturbances. Our aim is to support an ethical, educational, and safe experience. We hope that you can support our goal too

This is not an entertainment center. You won’t get elephant rides or bathing. Probably you won’t even touch the elephants (though you can touch some of them if you want). These elephants are old and saved from circus and tree/rock carrying slavery. All of them have scars and wounds from years of hard work. Now they are resting here and being well carried. It was a very nice experience. Note that you have to book an appointment in advance because they have a limited amount of participants. We visited the park at the 14:00 session and it was dangerously hot. I suggest you go in the morning session because it’s very hard to enjoy nature while being cooked in the sun.

Great experience, we had a good time with the old elephants. I could feel they need good care and attention all the time. The staffs are friendly and explained the history and life of elephants in Thailand. I had a deep discussion with her and one Italian friend Tyler . We are animal lover. The long life of elephants brought many issues for the aging animals and the cost of raising animals is very high. Hope more ppl could come here. BTW please respect the animals when you take photo, they can feel your heart.
